More crawfish...

Stopped by my favorite noodle restuarant (Kim Ky Noodle House) in San Gabriel and saw this sign. Gotta try it out and compare it to the Boiling Crab down in Santa Ana area.

Crawfish at the Boiling Crab

OK, the picture from my Treo phone doesn't look too good and unfortunately, we were too excited to dig in and eat rather than take pictures at the beginning of the meal. But wow...the crawfish at the Boiling Crab in Santa Ana was soo good. If you go, get the cajun flavor in mild. Believe me...even if you like your food spicy...the mild flavor was just perfect. If you guys ever want to check the place out...it's on the NE corner of Brookhurst and Westminister. In the same plaza as Banh Mi Che Cali and Century TV. Next time, I'll try to get better pictures of the feast before we all dig in. :)

Are these spicy enough for you?

You see what I mean by being a sucker for spicy food? This was the restuarant in SF that Ham and I ended up going to in the post below. The dishes that has a little chilie icon next to it in the menu, I would always end up ordering.

This broth makes your tongue tingle after eating it for a while

Do you think there is enough chillies in this deep fried chicken wing dish?

Malaysian Spicy Chow Fun

This dish from Tri-Valley restuarant in Pleasanton sucks. Barely eaten...i need to order something else to satisfy my hunger.

***Update: So, it was barely eaten and I flag someone down to get me a menu so I could order something else. The person that came with the menu was the manager. He saw that the food was barely eaten so he asked me if I would like something else...he'll have it made for me. I was taken back by the offer. He went on to suggest a few different dished that I can try and I finally settled on a beef noodle soup. Well, what finally came out was a beef chow fun, but at least it was better than the Malaysian Spicy Chow Fun I had initally. I am suck a sucker for the work spicy in the title of most dishes. I am always tempted to order that dish first at a new restuarant. The food might be nasty, but at least the service was good here.
