Baby Fart's Nathan and Connor
Looking through the archive and saw these pictures so I thought I would post. June of Baby Farts, the Camry Sucks blog (not sure why the Camry sucks...I think they are fine automobile) often visits my blog and are one of the few visitors who actually comments. So it's nice to finally have some pictures of her and her family to publish here.
I am not sure who actually took these pictures during Terrence 1st birthday celebration, but I wished I had more time behind the camera and capture some myself. Connor is adorable and thanks you all so much for coming an spending the day with us.
Catching up...
Hey all. Finally got the last of my to do list for the biz out of the way so I won't feel too guilty spending time on this blog. Side note... if you guys know anyone in need of a wedding photographer, make sure to send them to DavidHam - the blog or the site: DavidHam Photography We promise to take good care of them and they will absolutely love their photos.
So I am still playing catch up. Here are some photos of Terrence on on April 24th. So after he turned one, we started to introduce him to more regular type food. He still doesn't have all his molars yet so that prevents us from giving him anything that requires actual chewing. But even with the lack of molars, he does a great job of most things we put in his mouth.
Take for example this sandwich. Ham, fried egg, bell pepper, onion, lettuce and tomatoes sandwiched by two slices of wheat with mayo and mustard to top it off. I quartered the sandwich into bite size pieces and off we go. He loves it! He started doing his wiggle and feet tapping whenever he eats something that pleases him. And this sandwich pleases him greatly as he was dancing in his high chair. Check out the sequence below. And his sign language for "more" is clapping of the hands.

Another attempt
light...but it's so slow. For this one, I pressed the button and just
hope that he smiles. Not bad eh?
Cute smile
But this will suffice until I can grab the shot I'm talking about.

A Special Mother's Day...
Julie, Terrence and I drove up to Santa Ana to meet up with Julie's family to celebrate Mother's day. Afterwards, we drove over to Dana Point to celebrate with my family with a low key bbq at home. Nancy helped to plan the event, but faith would have it...her water broke that morning and she went into Pomona Valley Hospital to begin her journey to motherhood. My family and I all waited and tried to best enjoy ourselves while eager to hear news of a successful birth. I told Julie that I expect the baby to come at about 5.
Baby Calvin came into the world shortly before 5PM, officially making my youngest sister Nancy a mom and me an uncle. On the perfect day too since it is both Mother's day and my birthday. Congratulations Nancy and Walton. And a big Welcome into the world baby Calvin. Baby arrive at a nice healthy 7lb 3oz. Here are some pictures taken when we arrived at the hospital a little after 7pm to visit with Nancy and the baby. Unfortunately Walton was not in any of these pictures because he was downstairs watching over Terrence while Julie and I visited. The hospital has a rule that bars anyone under 12yrs old from being up in the maternity ward. boo

Word of advice to the single guys...
I found out from a reliable source that if you want a Japanese girlfriend and possibly wife, these are the reading materials to get. It's been tested and proven to work 100%. ;)
And just in case you want to net a Chinese girl first, the Chinese Astrology comes in handy too.

Computers in the future...
Considering how short the history of computer has been and the advancements that has been made. When I see Terrence like this, I wonder what the computers will be like once he's my age. Will he need to use a keyboard and mouse to interface with it. Or will it just all be mind controlled? Terrence, probably like most kids his age, gravitates towards anything electronic. Here he is escaping from my view for a sec and putting his paw all over my mouse and keyboard. At least he shows promise in that like his dad, one hand is aways on the keyboard with the other on the mouse. This allows you to control the mouse and also hit shortcut key combos to multi task even faster. :D
Creating good habits...
About a week ago, we started Terrence on the habit of brushing his teeth before bed and in the morning. He took to it pretty well. In part thanks to the cool glowing toothbrushes that aunt Karin and uncle Ham sent down. Overall, he seems to enjoy having his teeth brushed. However, the only problem is...he seem to want to eat the bristle of the brush. Anything that goes near his mouth, he wants to eat. A pig as always.
Julie brought him over to me last night because he's so cute with the toothbrush. I snapped a few in the dark. The glow of the toothbrush reminds me of a mini lightsaber or something.

Photos from April 12th
Hi everyone. I am trying to catch up on photos. I need to figure on the back end how to get photos posted easier with the highslide effect on blogger. Some changes to the photo hosting site made the process more tedious than need be. So if you have any ideas, let me now. I may just move to wordpress instead.
Here are a few from a April 12th. I let Terrence run around the loft area and snap away. He was having fun just being silly.
