Baby sitting...

Mom was out today so I stayed home to babysit Terrence. Denny came over to help and we turned it into a photo session. It was fun and here is a couple we quickly pulled from Denny's Nikon D70s. Not bad for a 6.1MP camera huh?

I don't think I caught many pictures of Terrence in the buff...so we quickly stripped him down for these cute shots. The only thing we're missing are some cute and colorful knitted hats for him to wear. Terrence was loving the photosession in the buff. I think he feels free without any clothes. More pictures to come later...

Favorite parts...

So last night, Denny, Lee, Andy, Tee, Krystal and myself made it out to Valleyview Casino to try their buffet which many people complimented as being even better that the Las Vegas casinos. Considering Julie has to continue to focus on her study, I made myself scarce and got to enjoy that time with a meal with my friends.

Afterwards, we headed back to my place because they all wanted a chance to see Terrence. We had a good time seeing Terrence do various facial expressions and Krystal loves just touching all the soft parts of Terrence's body. I confess to them that one of my favorite parts of his body is the soft, smooth skin hidden underneath his double chin. It's a part that is hard to get to most of the time, but when he contorts his body a certain way, that part of his neck is revealed and I just love kissing him there. :) Look at his double chin...excess skin like so many all over his body.

However, do you know what is probably Terrence's best feature? Often times, when Julie is out and about, the ladies young and old who stop to say hello Terrence often love his.................ears. They think it's so perfect and I think that body part of his has gotten the most compliments so far. Mom loves those little ears of his too.

Here he is, with ears flared...looking more like a little piggie. :)

Mom just can't get enough of kissing. Terrence gives her a face.

Saturday morning bike ride...

Another weekend ride, this time with a larger group and new faces at Penasquito trails. Like all other BTF events, this one was not without it's interesting element that makes it's memorable. First off, our friend Tee from the LA area is in town with his bike so he joined the group. Phong and Florence was also able to make it and Phong even brought a long his coworker Dan to join us.

Penasquito trails is pretty tame compared to some of the other trails we have been ridden in the past. Still, the Monica's bike had some trouble with shifting. So she pretty much rode the entire way with essentially one-two gears. To make matters worst, during her ride, some sort of bug flew and hit her in the lips. If that was enough, it stung her...so part way through the ride, her lips started swelling up. Reminds me of Bubba from Forest Gump. :)

Next up was Keo and he awesome new bike. However, the machine may not be man enough for the rider as he was able to bend a link on his bike chain, causing it to be undone and putting some painful scratches on his bike's read swingarm in the process. Ouch...sorry, it always hurts the first time Keo. However, as you can see in the picture, a passing biker had a link tool that he helped to get the chain back into a ridable position. Beats having to walk the bike back to the car. At least there was no major spills this time around.

Eleven of us made it out for the morning ride. Welcome Dan.

Terrence rollover...

Here's the sequence I promise of the little one rolling all on his own. He is pretty good at it now and learning to master rolling the other way as well. Kids figure out this technique at their own pace, so us parents must make sure that we don't leave them unattended when they get to the age they begin learning to roll. I hear it's about the 5-6 mo time frame. Rolling from stomach to back is easier than back to stomach.

Special day...

What a special day today is. First off, it's my youngest sister's birthday! Happy birthday Nancy. May all your wishes be fulfilled in abundance. What's especially special about today is that Julie and I learn that Nancy is 7 weeks pregnant. Congratulation Nancy and Walton. She is sharing the good news with my parents tonight at dinner so that should be welcome news for them.

Another special thing that happened today is that Terrence is able to consistently roll over from his tummy to back. It's so funny to watch him attempt it...but you can definitely see him getting better at it. I'll try to get a picture of him doing that tomorrow.

Lastly, today is special because I had my favorite food...noodles...for lunch. Thnx big sis Nena for treating me to that. Then once I came home, my lovely wife whipped up a gourmet looking dinner. Seared Tuna topped with sliced garlic and jalapeƱos in a sweet Vietnamese ngouc cham sauce. That was served with hot steam rice and chinese broccoli grown from Julie's uncle's farm. Can't get any better than that!
