Lots of ppl at Oakland airport

Upon arriving to the airport today to fly back to San Diego, I learn that someone had breached airport security so they had to evacuate everyone and then close down the airport for two hours while they check everything out. So you can imagine how backed up the airport was once it was reopened. The sucky thing is, nobody knew when that may be. People who had connecting flights missed their flight at the next leg of the trip. You can hear people on their cell phone trying to see if there are any later flight out for the next leg of their trip. It was a mess. The line to get through the security gates were really long...however the airport staff did a great job of moving it along.
