Flowers everywhere...

With the consistent rain we have been getting in San Diego, all the wild flowers are in full bloom. You see it everywhere, including off the side of the freeway. Some of the more spectacular ones are along the freeway and it's so tempting to just stop the car to get some quick snaps. Luckily, while on the way home from lunch...we saw some around our neighborhood. So I pluck Terrence out of the car seat and put him in the middle of it for some quick snaps. Of course he was so occupied with the flowers that I was barely able to get him to look at the camera at all. Bugger!

Terrence turns 11 mo yesterday...

What a fast 11 months it has been too. As many of you may know, part
of the reason why Terrence has grown so well and healthy is because he
is still drinking mom's milk for at least 3 of his daily meals. Now
that his mom is at work, I get to give him his mom's milk from the
bottle for at least one of his feeding time. Today I taught him to
hold it up himself and he instantly knew what to do with it. Normally
when we are feeding Terrence, we taught him to keep his hands away
from his mouth or food. This time I told him it's ok to hold his
bottle. Here's a shot of him from my phone.

Today was Julie's first day and the start of her career as an
Osteopathic physician. So while mom was working, Terrence and daddy
met up with Nena for lunch at Pho Bolsa before heading over to Target/Baby R Us for
a little bit. Here is Terrence in his car seat and enjoying the view
from higher u than he is accustomed to in mommies' Corolla.
